The Bathroom, the foyer, the kitchen… need I say more?!
This North Carolina modular home is the “Hillcrest” by R-Anell Homes on display at Homes by Vanderbuilt. This model as toured has a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom and a 2433 sqft layout, with a his and her master bathroom and a massive master bedroom.
When you first walk in this home you are immediately greeted with a proper foyer. This feature alone is something that is so rare to see in a modular home. Straight in from the front door it as a coat closet and to the left of that is the stairs to the second floor. On either side of the foyer are doorways. To the left leads to the bedrooms and to the right leads to the formal living room.
We will start to the right in the formal living room. It is grand to say the least. It spans from the front of this modular home to the back. In the left corner towards the front of the house you have access to your master suite (we will get to that shortly). Towards the other end of the living room you have several huge windows looking out into your future back yard and on the left is the kitchen.
The kitchen is a really large galley layout with a beautiful island in the center. On both sides of the kitchen you have a tremendous amount of cabinets and counter space. It might be just as expensive to buy the dishes to fill these cabinets up, lol. Anyway, on the one side you have you stove and microwave and to the other you have a sink that sits under a window and your dishwasher and refrigerator.
Through the kitchen is your formal dining room. To the right side of the dining room you will find the utility room. To the left side you will enter your den/ media room. This den is nice in the fact it is right next to the smaller bedrooms, making it a perfect place for the kids to have a place to play. Off of this den is the hallway bringing you back to the foyer. Within the hallway though, there are 2 bedrooms to the right, a full bath to the left and a coat and shoe rack in the hall.
The Master Suite
Now it is time to take you into the master bedroom of this modular home. This bedroom is just enormous. It has plenty of room for pretty much any size bed and even more room for a sitting area. The real only downside to me, and this is just my personal opinion to be taken with a grain of salt, is it doesn’t leave many bed placement options with the alcove it currently has. Still love the space though.
On either side of the bed are doorways into the his and her master bathrooms. The bathroom to the right of the bed has a single vanity, toilet and a walk in shower. The bathroom to the right has the same thing minus the shower. Instead, this bathroom has a cute garden tub. Dividing the two is a walk in closet that allows access to either bathroom. Its glorious!
The 2nd story to this North Carolina Modular Home is unfinished so I will leave that up to your imagination to design. Let me know what you think in the comments.
