The “Hudson” by Adventure Homes definitely takes the cake when it comes to cute manufactured home designs! This was actually the first time I’ve had the opportunity to tour one of their single wide models and I totally love the uniqueness that Adventure Homes brings to the industry.
We recently visited Preferred Homes in Grand Rapids, Michigan that had one of these beautiful models available for us to tour. If you are interested in this home, it is available in several other states as well. Adventure Homes are sold in CO, IL, IN, KY, MI and TN.
The “Hudson” by Adventure Homes includes:
- 1088 Square Feet
- Two Bedrooms
- Master Bedroom:11ft 4in X 14ft 10in
- Second Bedroom: 12ft 4in X 11ft 4in
- Two Bathrooms
- Large Living Room
- Spacious Kitchen Design
- Starting w/drywall approximately $80,500
The exterior of this “Hudson” has a striking blue vinyl siding that runs all the way around the home and is accented with bright white shutters for maximum contrast. The coolest part about this model though, is the unique round design up towards the front end of the home. It has great big windows that almost look to offer a panoramic view from the living room inside.
If that wasn’t enough, there is space for a cute little flower box to top of the incredible look Adventure Homes has created right below the two front windows. Along the back side of the home there is also a rear door with access into the back hallway. This would be a perfect spot to add a back patio or porch to hang out and enjoy a nice book or just bask in the afternoon sun.
Stepping through the front door, to the right, the first thing that you notice is the large living room. Here the round design of the front of the home has found its way inside. There are a ton of great big windows and plenty of space for all types of various furniture layouts.
Just remember not to block any of those windows so you don’t miss out on any beautiful views!
To the left of the front door is the kitchen and dining room space. While this home does not have an actual dining room space it does have a raised bar just off the front door that is connected to the “U” shaped kitchen counter. There is also a little bit of space on the back wall in between the living room and kitchen that may fit a smaller dining room table.
Beyond that though, the kitchen has a large amount of counter space and an ample amount of cabinets and drawers. The kitchen sink sits nicely below the window in the middle of the counter along the front facing wall. On the back counter here in the kitchen you will find the stove with a built in microwave mounted above it and a great big spot for the refrigerator.
Secondary Bedroom and Bathroom/Laundry
From the kitchen we start working our way down the back hall towards all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The first door we come to is the furnace access door. I know, not very exciting but I thought Id at least point it out so you knew where it was if you were curious.
After that you come to the first full bathroom. There is a single vanity and a very handy medicine cabinet mounted above it. There is also a toilet and a shower and tub combo. This bathroom has two roles though. It also acts as the laundry room with washer and dryer hookups on the opposite wall from the vanity and several storage cabinets mounted above.
Heading out of the bathroom, just right around the corner, is the secondary bedroom. It is a nice size measuring in at approximately 12ft 4in X 11ft 4in. It sits on the front side of the home with a nice size window and also has a very large closet.
I was actually quite surprised by the closet size. It was bigger than most closets in larger modular and site built homes that I’ve seen.
At the end of the hall you finally come to the master suite. The main portion of the bedroom spans the width of the home and measures in at approximately 11ft 4in X 14ft 10in. It has two large windows on the side of the room facing the front of the house. It also has two doors on the back of the room. One to the left that leads into the master closet and the one on the right takes you to the en-suite.
The en-suite in the model we toured has a single vanity, a built in linen cabinet and a stand alone shower. The good news though for all you tub lovers out there, is this home does have an option to have a shower and tub combo if you preferred it over just a shower.
I think Adventure Homes did a great job with this gorgeous single wide but I’d love to here your thoughts! With that, thank you so much for stopping by and We will see your beautiful face in the next one!
