Michigan Modular Home Exterior

The outside of this home has a very cute ranch style layout with a prominent 2 car garage to the left of the home. There are several windows up here on the front of the home, with a beautiful white trim up against this very nice tan siding. Up around the front door, there is a large covered porch with white vinyl siding in the gable above it.

As you work your way around to the backside of the home, you will also notice a tremendous amount of windows. These windows peer out of rooms, such as, the master suite, dining room, kitchen and family room.

Back here, you’ll also see a sliding glass door which sits directly off of the dining room. This would be a great spot to put a back porch so you can enjoy hanging out with family and friends. Just a very quaint outdoor living space.

Living Room

When you first step inside of the home, you immediately enter into the living room. This is more of a formal sitting area, since the home does have two living room type spaces. This one happens to have a large window looking out onto the front porch and it is quite large. It has plenty of room to place furniture however you would like.

To the backside of the living room, on the left-hand side, there’s also a coat closet. Now, this home can be placed on either a crawl space or basement type foundation and this would be that doorway down into your basement. However, if you didn’t opt for the basement this could be a coat closet or some other type of storage closet.

Master Suite

To the right-hand side of the living room, you will find the entrance into the master suite. The main portion of the suite sits towards the backside of the home and the bedroom itself is quite large measuring in at approximately 12ft 7in X 17ft 4in. There is definitely enough room for a large king size bed and several dressers.

Typically, I would tell you that you also have space for a sitting room, if obviously the dimensions allow it, but with this one I don’t need to. That’s because, just off of the master bedroom, is what they call a retreat room. It has two French doors leading into a secluded spot, perfect for either an office or a reading nook or something along those lines.

On the opposite side of the master suite, you will find the en-suite and the master closet. The master closet is actually quite large, and you can access it from both the bedroom and inside of the bathroom.

The bathroom features a large double vanity, a standalone shower with tile surround, and a nice deep soaking tub towards the front side of the home. It is almost like you have two retreat rooms in this stunning Michigan modular home!

Kitchen and Dining Room

Moving back past the living room, you will find the kitchen. The kitchen is also incredibly large, just like most things within this home. In the center, you would find an island with plenty of room for stools. This makes it great if you wanted to sit and eat breakfast or just have a place to sit while you’re prepping food.

Along the back wall of the kitchen, you will find an L-shaped counter which has a whole bunch of cabinets and drawers, both uppers and lowers. Here you will find a gas stove with a microwave mounted just above it, and next to that your dishwasher. Looking out into the backyard is a beautiful window with a nice stainless sink below it.

On the opposite wall you will find even more counter space. This would be perfect for a dry bar or appliances. Either way, there is plenty of space. There is also plenty more upper and lower cabinets for additional storage space. The just next to this back counter you will find a nice wide pantry with plenty of room for a ton of food.

Next to the kitchen is the dining room space. It has plenty of room for a large table and has a very nice accent light hanging down over the top of the table. Along the back wall you’ll also find the sliding glass door that we mentioned on the outside of the home. I was very pleased to see in this Michigan modular home, they carried the vinyl all the way through the dining room.

I hate seeing carpet going into dining rooms. Even though I know that I can always change that out if I wanted to, I feel like carpet and dining rooms never really mix, so why do they do it in the first place.

Family Room

Past the dining room you will enter into the family room. The centerpiece of the family room, is of course, a beautiful electric fireplace with a stone surround. It has a nice wood mantle above it and plenty of room to mount a TV. On either side it does have two bookcase cabinets for extra storage and decorations.

Along the back wall there are two large windows that help provide extra light into the living room. This is another space that is pretty large and has enough space to have any number of furniture layouts.

100 Questions Every First-Time Home Buyer Should Ask

Secondary Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Now getting to the far end of the home, this is where all of the secondary bedrooms are located. Nice and separated from the master suite to help keep down any noises that the kids or guests may make. Back here you will find three bedrooms. Each of them have ample space, all with nice deeper step in closets. Not quite walk-in closets, but nice and roomy.

Two of the bedrooms sit up towards the front of the home and then one that sits on the backside of the home, across the hallway. They each have plenty of room for big size beds as well as several dressers.

In between the two bedrooms sitting on the front side of the home, you will find the first of the two full bathrooms. This bathroom has a single vanity, a shower and tub combo and a beautiful built in medicine cabinet sitting just above the toilet.

The second full bathroom sits all the way down the hall, right next to the back bedroom. Again, this bathroom also features a single vanity and a large showering tub combo. The room closest to this bathroom is probably more suited for a guest or older child.

Utility Room and Garage

Through the doorway, just before you get to that back bedroom, you will find the utility room. Here there are all of the utilities, including the water heater, furnace, and washer and dryer hookups. The utility room does wrap around in an “L” shape to reveal plenty of counter space, as well as, a nice deep washbasin.

All the way at the back of the utility room, which is technically the front side of the home, is a doorway that leads out into the two car garage. The garage, of course, would be a great place for extra storage and any freezers you have. Oh! And maybe a car or two.
